1.What year did you come to Liberty Church for the first time?
2003
2.What factors convinced you that you wanted to make Liberty Church your home?
After arriving in Atlanta, we spent every Sunday, Wednesday, and whenever we could find a church open to go visit & try to find our new home church. Anne found Liberty on the web and emailed with a couple who invited us to their service at Liberty. They ended up being our elders. When we visited, we were warmly greeted by lots of people, and after worship, we turned to look at each other and said, “we’re home”. This was really the affirmation of the Holy Spirit guiding us to the place & people the Lord had for us to serve His in Kingdom.
3.What is the craziest job you ever had?
Probably “trolley boy” (think shopping cart) at Franklins Supermarket at Christmas time. I’d collect 50 carts from the parking lot, push them inside to have them all taken by waiting customers, then go back and do it all again for many hours. In 95+ degree heat. Or as “checkout chick” with all 10 registers open, each with 10 customers waiting with full carts. Taught me patience and speed.
4.Please share with us 1-2 unique hobbies you have.
Answering the question: “How tall are you?”, or “How’s the weather up there?”.
5.What is a fun fact about you that people might not guess?
My ancestors arrived as convicts on the first fleet to Australia.
2003
