1.What year did you come to Liberty Church for the first time?
2002
2.What factors convinced you that you wanted to make Liberty Church your home?
When I was still in Birmingham, I asked the Lord to help me find a church that had prophetic ministry, women in leadership and amazing workship. When I walked into the church, I was met by Deb Cain and her staff with such love and personal attention, I don't remember the worship leader's name, but he was so amazing in his worship style and everyone were so engaged, I did not know the format of the church, so when Pastor Helen and George got up to give the announcements, I thought they were the pastors, then she introduced Pastor Margaret who announced that she was having a prophetic presbytery within a few weeks. So the Father answered all the requests: worship, women in leadership and prophetic ministry.
3.What is the craziest job you ever had?
The craziest job - when I was in my 20s I got a PT job at Toys 4 Us during the Christmas season. I had never seen such chaos - there were kids riding bikes and using the store as a play ground. And I found out that parents would drop their kids at the store and go across the street to the Riverchase Galleria to shop. My first day was black Friday, I resigned after my shift.
4.Please share with us 1-2 unique hobbies you have.
I have a developed a love for gardening both flowers and vegetables. I have always struggled with planting flowers, but have learned to design (google/you tube) arrangements that are attractive during the spring/summer. Also my veggies are impressive too. . . with experience and help from family members.
5.What is a fun fact about you that people might not guess?
I was in the band in highschool (clarinet) stepped away from music for many, many years then decided to take drum lessons in my 40s. I love playing but I'm not very good but I love picking up on beats that I hear or recognize. I just love the young man that plays for Liberty, he is a REALLY anointed player.
